Ramiro Valdes Jara

I am currently a MSc Data Science student at University of Zurich and ETHZ (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich). Before starting my MSc, I worked two years as a Doctoral/Ph.D. researcher at University of Miami (Currently paused to do MSc), and I earned a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M).

My expertise and interests lie in time series analysis, machine learning, and data-driven modeling, particularly for prediction and real-world decision-making applications. I also bring one year of industry experience as a Full-Stack Developer Intern at Indexa Capital Group.

Always curious and open to collaboration, I love working on challenging problems that connect data science and machine learning with real-world applications.

🌍 Outside tech, I am usually organizing the next trip, or on a court. I love playing tennis and padel, connecting with new people and chasing ideas that widen my horizons.
